1981-1983: Attended Pasadena City College and graduated with A.A. degree in art.
1984-1988: Attended California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art, Art Education and a California Teaching Credential.
1992: Graduated from CSULB with a M.A. in Drawing and Painting.
2011-2019: Attended Art Center Courses in Abstract Painting and Composition, Color Theory, Materials of Art and Design, and Collage/Mixed Media.

2018 - Present: Business owner of Yvonne Jongeling, a Multi-Media Artist business who specializes in conceptual abstract paintings. Artworks focus on internal environments, based on moments of time.
2022: Guest Artist ZOOM presenter on "The Workings of Yvonne Jongeling" for Angeles Crest Art Guild.
2021: Presented Hand-bound Journal Making Workshop at the Neutra Institute and Gallery Museum.
2021: Presented Sparkle Salt Ornament Workshop at Avenue 50 Studio.
